THE BEST SHORT FILM
The 2nd edition of Shades International Short film Festival concluded in style on the 28th of December 2020. We thank our jury, team, entrant filmmakers, audience and well wishers from the bottom of our hearts. Here are the winners of the 2nd edition. Congratulations.
Like our jury rightly pointed out, each of the 25 official entries were brilliant. As there's a competition happening, there has to be winners. And here they are:
The Best Film Award (Cash prize of INR 50,000 and felicitation) is won by He Used To Bring Me Apples, Directed by Mehdi Jahan and produced by Mehdi Jahan, Syed Manuwar Hussain & Syeda Jebin Begum Hussain.
Special jury mention for Best Film (Felicitation) is won by A Silent Warble by Debanjan Majhi and produced by Abhishek.

THE BEST DIRECTOR
The Best Director Award (Cash prize of INR 25,000 and felicitation) is shared by Avinash Sapkal and Saket Kanetkar for their film, The Nation, People precedes Citizens.
Special jury mention for Best Director (Felicitation) is won by Debanjan Majhi for his film A Silent Warble.

THE BEST ACTOR
The Best Actor Award (Cash prize of INR 25,000 and felicitation) is won by Leah Grace Tenzing Namchiyo for the film Stains.
Special jury mention for Best Actor (Felicitation) is won by Nanditha Das for the film Athiru.
