Shades Festival - Share a story

Called Delyn by English sailors in the Renaissance era, the once large seaport Payyannur is now the Cultural Capital of North Kerala. From the history of trade with China to Mahatma Gandhis visit to Swami Anandatheertha in 1934, folklores of Theyyam to the encompassing Vannathi Puzha, rise of the Communist movement to the indulgence in Film Societies, our Cover Spread pays homage to one and all.

Shades Festival set it's foot in Payyannur with its 4th edition in 2023. Shades is here to reminiscence these stories and showcase new ones.
